Canadian securities regulations (National Instrument 81-106) require investment fund managers to disclose to investors the record of proxy votes on an annual basis. The intent of these regulations is to provide investors with greater transparency and more detailed information on how the investment funds they own voted shares as the security holder.
Through this website you are able to view the voting records for individual securities on a fund-by-fund basis. For each security, a brief description of each voting matter is provided, indication of whether the investment fund voted on the matter, and whether the votes cast were for or against the recommendations of the management of the issuer.
The information on this site is for the period ending June 30th of each year and is updated by August 31st.
